I am a writer, information designer and creative consultant. I live in a village in Oxfordshire, UK, called Eynsham. I have been a professional writer for an annoyingly long time (about 20 years). For much of that time I worked as actor/writer for Ambush Theatre Company, then as Director of Communications with the Oasis Trust. In Feb. 1996, I returned to freelance writing. So far I'm still managing to buy food, although come winter we may have to start putting the chairs on the fire... I am the author of over 20 books, including Church Invisible, The Bible Book, Lord Minimus and The Tabloid Bible. I write regularly for magazines such as Youthwork and Christianity as well as working for a number of charities and NGOs. I design and structure websites, offer training in creativity and idea generation and work with a number of marketing and design companies. Recently I have done a lot of information design and writing for organisations and trusts in the criminal justice sector. More about my latest projects here. I am married to Claire and we have three daughters called Lily, Madeleine and Martha. My hobbies include book collecting, cooking, living in the sixties and using the word 'oblong'. I support Watford Football Club, but someone has to. |
