I am a writer, information designer and creative consultant. I live in a village in Oxfordshire, UK, called Eynsham. I have been a professional writer for an annoyingly long time (about 20 years).
For some of that time I worked as actor/writer for Ambush Theatre Company, then as Director of Communications with the Oasis Trust. In Feb. 1996, I returned to freelance writing. So far I’m still managing to buy food, although come winter we may have to start putting the chairs on the fire…
I am the author of over 60 books. I write regularly for magazines as well as working for a number of charities and NGOs.
I also dabble in writing and designing websites, do quite a lot of speaking and training.
I am married to Claire and together we write children's books. We have three daughters. My hobbies include book collecting, cooking, supporting Watford Football Club and wondering how all of this happened.
